Wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita

A new program that brings you the core concepts of the Bhagavad Gita, which encapsulates the wisdom of India’s ancient Vedic tradition.

Many Sanskrit terms are used freely these days, but not understood in the way they were first explained in the Gita (and other Vedic texts). Other concepts may be only faintly understood.

The teachings will start with commonly misunderstood or half-understood concepts like Dharma, Karma (both the law and the path), and detachment. We will move gently to the highest teachings of the Gita.

You can choose to join individual sessions as and when you wish; but you are urged to attend even if you think you fully understand a concept. If you do, the discussion will nevertheless be useful, giving rise to new ways of thinking about the concept; and if you don’t understand it as well as you thought you did, then the session may lead to important unlearning as well as new learning!

The teachings are presented in a way that they apply to our lives today, so that we can start practising what we learn immediately!

The explanations are offered by Pamposh Dhar, a life-long student of the Gita, and followed by discussion and Q&A. We will start each session with a short mindfulness practice. Pamposh, the founder of the Terataii Centre, is also a Reiki Master, meditation teacher, counsellor and life coach.
